Compare the two layouts

Lil Hercules 2.0
vs Baby Gladiator

The first difference is where the lift lives: under the truck or in the bed. Here’s what that means for the rest of your setup.

Lil Hercules wheel lift extended beneath the rear of a Ford dually pickup.

Underbody wheel lift

Lil Hercules 2.0

The main lift mounts beneath the truck. Start here if you prefer an underbody layout, then plan around frame clearance, the hydraulic power unit and the equipment you need to carry.

In-bed wheel lift

Baby Gladiator

The unit mounts in the pickup bed. Start here if that arrangement fits your work, then check its footprint, stowed position and the space left for tools and other towing equipment.

What changes with the layout?

Start with the truck

What do you need it to do?

The right comparison starts with the vehicles you plan to move, not just the largest number on a spec sheet.

Your truck
Year, make, model, cab and bed configuration, vehicle rating labels and any suspension modifications. If you’re still shopping, share the trucks you’re considering.
Your work
The vehicles you expect to tow, the reach you need and the conditions you work in. Include dollies, tools and other equipment that will ride on the truck.
Your layout
Where the lift, power unit and storage will go. Review mounting and clearance together instead of treating the lift as a separate purchase.

Compare the complete quote

The unit is only part of the build.

An equipment price and an installed-truck price cover different things. Review the lift, included controls and power equipment, installation labor, frame and suspension preparation, chosen accessories, freight and tax as separate parts of the quote.

The product pages show current package information. Your truck-specific quote confirms the included equipment and work; an online estimate does not confirm compatibility or reserve an installation slot.
